Groudon is a Fighting-type Pokémon with 100 HP. It requires four Colorless Energy to retreat and has no resistances. The card features an attack named Volcano Stomp, which costs four Fighting Energy and deals 80 damage. When used, it flips a coin, discarding the top four cards of either the opponent’s or the player’s deck depending on the result. The Pokémon’s flavor text describes it as a force that expanded lands by evaporating water with intense heat and engaged in a legendary battle with Kyogre. It was released in the Call of Legends set, part of the HeartGold & SoulSilver series, on February 9, 2011. The card is illustrated by artist Ryo Ueda and is classified as a Rare Holo. Its weakness to Grass-type attacks is doubled, making it vulnerable to specific strategies.
