M Venusaur-EX is a Grass-type Pokémon with 230 HP. Its retreat cost requires four Colorless energy, and it features one attack named Bloom Buster. To use Bloom Buster, the player must discard two Grass and two Colorless energy, dealing 130 damage. The attack also includes a secondary effect: flipping a coin to potentially deal 30 damage to each of the opponent’s Benched Pokémon, bypassing their Weakness and Resistance. The card has a Fire weakness that multiplies damage by two. It was illustrated by 5ban Graphics and released in the XY series as part of the Generations set in February 2016. The card’s rarity is listed as Rare Holo EX. Additional rules state that if a Pokémon becomes a Mega Evolution during the player’s turn, their turn ends immediately, and knocking out a Pokémon-EX causes the opponent to lose two Prize cards.
