Articuno is a Water-type Pokémon with 120 HP. It features a retreat cost of one Colorless energy and a resistance to Fighting-type attacks, reducing damage by 20. The card includes two attacks: "Find Ice" allows the player to search their deck for up to three Water Energy cards, reveal them, and add them to their hand before shuffling their deck, while "Freezing Wind" deals 100 damage when paid with four energy costs of Water, Water, Colorless, and Colorless. The card’s flavor text describes it as a legendary bird Pokémon said to appear to doomed individuals lost in icy mountains. It was released in the Generations set as part of the XY series on February 22, 2016. The artwork was created by artist Ryo Ueda. Its weakness to Metal-type attacks is doubled, making it vulnerable to such threats.
