Carnivine is a Grass-type Pokémon with 100 HP, featuring a retreat cost of two Colorless energy. Its attacks include Flick Poison, which requires one Grass energy to switch an opponent’s Benched Pokémon with their Active Pokémon, resulting in the new Active Pokémon being Poisoned. The second attack, Crunch, costs Grass and Colorless energy to deal 30 damage and discard an Energy from the opponent’s Active Pokémon. The card is part of the Sun & Moon series, released in October 2017, and is included in the Shining Legends set. Carnivine’s design is attributed to artist Tomokazu Komiya, and it bears the National Dex number 455. The Pokémon’s flavor text describes it as attracting prey with sweet-smelling saliva before consuming it over an extended period. Its weaknesses include Fire-type attacks, which deal double damage.
