Magnemite is a Lightning-type Pokémon from the Sun & Moon series, featured in the Forbidden Light set released in 2018. It has 60 HP and requires one Colorless energy to retreat. The card includes two attacks: "Searching Magnet" and "Tackle." "Searching Magnet" costs one Colorless energy, allowing the player to search their deck for up to three Lightning Energy cards, reveal them, and add them to their hand before shuffling the deck. "Tackle" uses one Lightning energy to deal 10 damage. Magnemite resists Metal-type attacks by 20 and is weak to Fighting-type attacks with double damage. The card's flavor text describes its ability to emit electromagnetic waves, causing a shock when touched. Artist MAHOU designed the illustration, capturing the Pokémon's electric theme.
