Parasect is a Grass-type Pokémon from the Scarlet & Violet series, numbered 47 in the 151 set, released on September 22, 2023. It has 120 HP and a retreat cost of two Colorless energy. The card features an attack called Spread Filaments, which requires one Grass energy to flip two coins, allowing the player to search their deck for up to two Grass Pokémon and place them on the Bench before shuffling their deck. Another attack, Claw Slash, costs two Colorless energy and deals 50 damage. Parasect has no resistances but is weak to Fire, taking double damage from such attacks. The card’s flavor text describes a scenario where the mushroom on its back becomes its primary body, and if the mushroom detaches, the bug ceases movement.
