It appears in the Scarlet & Violet series, part of the Twilight Masquerade set released on May 24, 2024. The card’s flavor text describes it as a nocturnal creature that inhabits cool, dark spaces and hunts after sunset. Sinistcha has two attacks: "Cursed Drop" and "Spill the Tea." "Cursed Drop" costs one Grass energy and allows the player to place four damage counters on the opponent’s Pokémon. "Spill the Tea" also costs one Grass energy and deals 70 damage for each Grass Energy card discarded from the active Pokémon, up to three cards. The card is classified as Rare and was illustrated by artist Kouki Saitou. It has no resistances and is weak to Fire, which deals double damage.
