It features two attacks: "Matron's Anger," which costs two Colorless Energy and deals 30+ damage, plus 10 extra for each Pokémon in the discard pile, and "Leaf Drain," requiring Grass and two Colorless Energy to deal 80 damage while healing 30 to itself. The card has a retreat cost of two Colorless Energy. It is weak to Fire, which deals double damage. The flavor text describes how Burmy’s evolution caused its cloak to become integrated into Wormadam’s body, a feature that never sheds. The card is part of the Sword & Shield series, released in February 2022, and is included in the Brilliant Stars set. It is marked as a Rare card with the regulation mark F.
