Mew is a Psychic-type Pokémon with 40 HP and a retreat cost of one Colorless energy. It features the ability Neutral Shield, which prevents all effects of attacks, including damage, from opponent's Evolution Pokémon. Its sole attack, Psy Bolt, costs one Psychic and one Colorless energy to deal 30 damage and has a 50% chance to paralyze the opponent's Active Pokémon. The card is part of the XY series, released in November 2016, and is included in the Evolutions set. Mew has no resistances but is weak to Psychic-type attacks multiplied by two. The card's flavor text describes it as a rare Pokémon often considered a mirage by experts. It was designed by artist Ken Sugimori and is classified as a Rare Holo card.
