Chansey is a Colorless-type Pokémon with 120 HP, featuring a retreat cost of three Colorless energy. It belongs to the XY series, released in the Evolutions set on November 2, 2016, and is numbered 70 as a Rare Holo card. The card’s flavor text describes Chansey as laying nutrient-rich eggs daily, which are exceptionally delicious. Its abilities include the attack Scrunch, which costs two Colorless energy and allows flipping a coin to prevent all damage to Chansey during the opponent’s next turn if heads. Another attack, Double-Edge, requires four Colorless energy to deal 80 damage to itself. Chansey has no resistances but is weak to Fighting-type attacks, which deal double damage. The card is illustrated by artist Ken Sugimori and is part of the Pokémon TCG’s evolving design language.
