Skarmory is a Colorless-type Pokémon with 100 HP and a retreat cost of one Colorless energy. It features two attacks: "Call for Family" requires one Colorless energy to search your deck for up to two Basic Pokémon and place them on your Bench, then shuffle your deck. The second attack, "Blow Through," costs two Colorless energy and deals 30+ damage, with an additional 30 damage if a Stadium card is in play. The card resists Fighting-type attacks by 20 and is weak to Lightning-type attacks multiplied by two. It was released in the Roaring Skies set as card number 69, part of the XY series. The flavor text describes its ability to fly at speeds exceeding 180 mph despite its iron-hard armor. Designed by artist Hitoshi Ariga, this Rare card debuted on May 6, 2015. Its strategic utility lies in its ability to manipulate the battlefield through resource management and conditional damage boosts.
