Scatterbug is a Grass-type Pokémon with 30 HP. It features two attacks: String Shot, which costs one Grass energy and has a 50% chance to Paralyze the opponent's Active Pokémon, and Tackle, which requires one Grass and one Colorless energy to deal 20 damage. The card’s retreat cost is one Colorless energy, and it has no resistances. Its primary weakness is to Fire attacks, which deal double damage. The flavor text describes how Scatterbug’s body powder helps regulate its temperature, allowing it to thrive in diverse climates. It was first released in the BREAKthrough set as card number 13, part of the XY series. The artwork was created by artist Sumiyoshi Kizuki.
