Celebi is a Grass-type Pokémon with 70 HP, featured in the XY series as part of the XY Black Star Promos set. It has a retreat cost of one Colorless energy and is classified as a Promo rarity card. The card’s ability, Time Call, allows the player to flip a coin and, if heads, search their deck for a card that evolves from one of their Pokémon, evolving that Pokémon immediately. This ability also requires shuffling the deck afterward. Celebi’s other attack, Leech Seed, costs one Grass energy and deals 10 damage while healing 10 damage to itself. The Pokémon has no resistances but is weak to Fire attacks multiplied by two. Its flavor text references its power to traverse time, appearing only during peaceful eras. Artist Mitsuhiro Arita designed the card, which was released on October 12, 2013.
