Raikou-EX is a Lightning-type Pokémon from the Black & White series, released as part of the Dark Explorers set on May 9, 2012. It has 170 HP and a retreat cost of one Colorless energy. The card has no resistances but is weak to Fighting-type attacks, which deal double damage. Its abilities include two attacks: Thunder Fang, which costs Lightning and Colorless energy to deal 30 damage and has a 50% chance to paralyze the defending Pokémon, and Volt Bolt, which requires three energies (two Lightning and one Colorless) to discard all attached Lightning Energy and deal 100 damage to an opponent’s Pokémon, ignoring Weakness or Resistance for Benched Pokémon. The card’s rule states that when a Pokémon-EX is knocked out, the opponent takes two Prize cards. It is a Rare Holo EX card with no printed abilities beyond its attacks.
