Scizor is a Metal-type Pokémon with 120 HP. It requires two Colorless Energy to retreat. The card features two attacks: Steel Slash, which costs two Colorless Energy and deals 40 damage, and Slashing Strike, which costs Metal and two Colorless Energy for 100 damage. Steel Slash prevents all damage to Scizor during the opponent's next turn from Pokémon-EX attacks. Slashing Strike prevents the Pokémon from using the same move during the player's subsequent turn. Scizor resists Psychic-type attacks by 20 and is weak to Fire-type attacks with double damage. The card's flavor text describes Scizor raising its pincers with eyelike markings to intimidate opponents and swinging them down with dangerous precision. It was released in the Black & White series' Boundaries Crossed set in November 2012. The card is classified as a Rare Holo and is illustrated by artist Hiroki Asanuma.
