Ampharos is a Lightning-type Pokémon with 120 HP, featuring a retreat cost of one Colorless energy. It possesses two attacks: "Acceleration Bolt" and "Thunder." The "Acceleration Bolt" requires one Lightning energy, dealing 30 damage while allowing the player to search their deck for up to two basic Energy cards to attach to a Pokémon, then shuffle the deck. The "Thunder" attack costs Lightning and two Colorless energies, dealing 80 damage and flipping a coin, with tails causing Ampharos to inflict 20 damage to itself. Ampharos resists Metal-type attacks by 20 damage but is weak to Fighting-type attacks multiplied by two. Its regulation mark is unspecified, and it is classified as a Rare card.
