Magnezone is a Lightning-type Pokémon with 160 HP. It features the Double Type ability, which grants it additional Metal type characteristics while in play. Its primary attack, Magnetic Bolt, costs one Lightning and two Colorless Energy to deal 120 damage and allows the player to draw a Trainer card from their discard pile. The Pokémon has a retreat cost of three Colorless Energy. It resists Metal-type attacks by 20 and is weak to Fighting-type moves with double damage. Magnezone appears in the Sun & Moon series, specifically the Unified Minds set, released on August 2, 2019. The card was illustrated by artist Shin Nagasawa. The flavor text describes the Pokémon using radar to detect intruders and employing a hyper beam to eliminate threats.
