Galvantula is a Lightning-type Pokémon from the Black & White series, featured in the Emerging Powers set. It has 80 HP and requires no retreat cost to play. The card includes two attacks: "Gnaw," which costs one Colorless energy to deal 20 damage, and "Stun Needle," a more powerful move that uses one Lightning and one Colorless energy to deal 30 damage. The latter also has a secondary effect, flipping a coin to potentially paralyze the defending Pokémon. Its flavor text describes the Pokémon creating an electric barrier by spitting charged threads when under attack. Galvantula has a weakness to Fighting-type attacks, which deal double damage.
