Slowking is a Psychic-type Pokémon with 90 HP. It has a retreat cost of two Colorless energy and a converted retreat cost of two. The card features a weakness to Psychic attacks, dealing double damage. Slowking includes two attacks: Psy Bolt, which costs one Psychic energy and deals 20 damage, and Hand Press, requiring Psychic and two Colorless energy to deal 50+ damage. The latter attack gains an additional 30 damage if the player holds more cards than their opponent. The flavor text describes Slowking as gaining intelligence akin to award-winning scientists after being bitten by Shellder. It was released in the Dark Explorers set of the Black & White series in May 2012. The card is illustrated by artist Shin Nagasawa.
