Blastoise & Piplup-GX is a Water-type Pokémon with 270 HP and a retreat cost of three Colorless Energy. It features two attacks: Splash Maker, which costs two Water and one Colorless Energy to deal 150 damage and allows attaching up to three Water Energy cards from the player’s hand, healing 50 damage per attached card. The second attack, Bubble Launcher-GX, costs the same but deals 100+ damage, paralyzing the opponent’s Active Pokémon, and adds 150 extra damage if the Pokémon has at least three additional Water Energy attached. The GX attack can only be used once per game. The card has a Grass-type weakness that doubles its damage. A rule states that when the player’s TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, the opponent takes three Prize cards. It belongs to the Sun & Moon series, the Cosmic Eclipse set, released in November 2019, and is illustrated by Akira Komayama.
