What is the Classic Collection?
It is a 30-card subset of 30th Celebration made up entirely of reprints. They look almost exactly like the originals, with the same artwork, the same text and the same card number, so Base Set Charizard still reads 4/102. Two things give them away: a gold border and a small 30th anniversary Pikachu stamp on the art.
They are not legal in the Standard format, but you can play them anywhere the original card is allowed. About one pack in ten has one, going by a count of 652 opened packs, and the Ultra-Premium Collections coming in November include a dedicated Classic Collection booster pack.
The Wizards of the Coast era
The oldest reprints go back to where it all started: Base Set Charizard and Pikachu, both drawn by Mitsuhiro Arita. From the Gym sets come Misty herself, as a Trainer card, and Erika's Jigglypuff. Neo brings Sneasel from Neo Genesis and Shining Celebi, one of the Shining Pokémon secret rares from Neo Destiny.
The e-Card era is represented by Crystal Lugia from Aquapolis, Crystal Type Poké-Body and all.

The EX era
Four cards come from the EX era. Delcatty is from Ruby & Sapphire, the first set after Wizards of the Coast. The Dark Tyranitar is the Team Rocket Returns version that is pure Darkness type. Metagross δ is a Delta Species card that counts as both Lightning and Metal, and Scizor ex from Unseen Forces is another Mitsuhiro Arita card.

Diamond & Pearl to HeartGold & SoulSilver
Ken Sugimori's Uxie comes from Legends Awakened, and Palkia LV.X from Great Encounters. Crobat G is one of the Team Galactic SP Pokémon from Platinum. HS Triumphant contributes three cards: Gengar Prime and both halves of the Darkrai & Cresselia LEGEND, which you need together to play it.

Black & White and XY
From Black & White comes N, the full-art Supporter from Noble Victories drawn by Ken Sugimori. Rayquaza-EX from Dragons Exalted and Genesect-EX from Plasma Blast complete that era. XY adds M Gardevoir-EX from Primal Clash and Greninja BREAK from BREAKpoint.

Sun & Moon to Scarlet & Violet
Sun & Moon is represented by Solgaleo-GX, Buzzwole-GX and the Tag Team Pikachu & Zekrom-GX. Sword & Shield gets four: Zacian V from the very first set, Raikou, an Amazing Rare from Vivid Voltage, Mew VMAX from Fusion Strike and Arceus VSTAR from Brilliant Stars.
The newest card in the Classic Collection is Shinji Kanda's Magikarp Illustration Rare from Paldea Evolved, still numbered 203/193.

Three cards numbered 106
Because every reprint keeps its original number, the list has some odd overlaps. Three different cards are number 106: Shining Celebi, M Gardevoir-EX and Palkia LV.X. Two are number 11: Genesect-EX and Metagross δ. Check the name as well as the number when you trade.
Collecting all 30
With a reprint in roughly one pack in ten, any one card, Charizard included, turns up in roughly one pack in 300. That makes singles the realistic way to finish the list.
Base Set Charizard 4/102 has now been reprinted twice this way: Celebrations, the 25th anniversary set from 2021, had its own Classic Collection with the same Charizard. The 30th Celebration Classic Collection has its own set page on Pooka, and you can track each reprint in the Pooka app.
